The
Barnstormer was first introduced in 1998 and is designed
for the single-seat, Part 103 machine. It is a 400 SQ FT
wing that is a blast to fly. It has very crisp turns, yet
it is very easy to inflate and has an excellent climb rate.
Performance
Specifications:
Lots of people ask us for the performance specifications
of our wings so they can make an educated decision on what
to buy. We have always hesitated to offer information like
this. In reality, the performance specs of most wings have
been influenced more by marketing hype than accurate data.
What we prefer to do is try to understand what you are looking
for in your new wing. We do this by asking a few questions.
What wing do you currently fly, your likes and dislikes,
and what you expect out of the new wing. We will then try
to steer you towards the wing that will meet your requirements.
We can also provide a Demo canopy for you to
fly, should you choose our wing. You wouldnt buy a
car without test-driving it first would you?

-Reduce all weight by an additional 1% for every 3º C
(5º F) above standard day temperature, which is 15º C
(59º F) at sea level.
Wing Loading:
This is at the discretion of the machine manufacturer.
Wing loading in this instance is defined as the maximum
impact
of the machine at landing without sustaining major damage
to the vehicle, pilot or passenger. It also should
not decrease
the ascent rate or increase the descent rate beyond the
comfort zone of the pilot and passenger. |
